Throughout my career, I've dedicated myself to making a meaningful impact in the lives of students. One particular journey that resonated deeply with me is that of a Syrian refugee student whom I had the pleasure of helping during my tenure as Vice President of Student Recruitment & International Partnerships at a highly reputed university in Dubai.

Upon meeting this student, I immediately recognized their unwavering determination and passion for an education in Engineering. I saw more than just a young person seeking admission into a university; I saw a resilient individual with a burning passion for education and a determination to overcome the odds stacked against them. Despite facing significant obstacles, including the inability to provide necessary documents due to challenges in their home country, their resilience shone brightly. It became clear to me that traditional barriers should never hinder opportunities for those with extraordinary potential.

I was driven to ensure this student's success from the outset. Facilitating their admission through internal assessments was just the beginning. I was determined to secure a scholarship that would alleviate financial burdens and empower them to pursue their aspirations with confidence. Witnessing their joy and gratitude upon receiving a 100% scholarship was a moment I will never forget—a reminder of the profound impact we can have on someone's life with a simple act of kindness.
